Batemans Auctioneers (especially Greg) have been truly wonderful. They have sold a varied range of items from my late Father’s estate and have been so efficient and professional.    This was my first experience of using Batemans and I found them excellent in all respects. Easy to buy, easy to pay. And they will sort out the delivery to you home if you want them to. Their emailed instructions for payment and postage are easy to follow. I would definitely use them again.   

   Having had some very special light fittings that sadly had been in boxes for many years. I decided that the sensible thing, would be to Auction them. My husband and I often watched the various programmes on TV and enjoyed Batemans Auctions so, it was obvious for me to take the boxes to them. From the moment I arrived, they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and I was happy to leave the light fittings in their capable hands. The Auction date arrived June 11, 2022, lot 166 estimate £200-£300. I watched on line, it was so exciting the gavel went down at £780. I have to say a massive thank you to all at Batemans, I highly recommend Batemans of Stamford.   

   Greg and the team are great. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Batemans for items you would like to sell through an auction house.   

   Fantastic professional advice given relating to an Edwardian clock. Very good photography, presenting lots in the best possible light. Plus in depth write up on each lot. With many photos. Plus easy parking and extremely friendly staff.   

   Very professional service, bid for and bought a ring which Batemans packed and posted very quickly for us. Arrived super quick as per information from E Mails provided.   

   Superb personal service. Item extracted and sent special delivery. Packing was A1 as was delivery speed. Would certainly return to this Auction House in future with no qualms. Well done!
