IMPORTANT NOTICE: COVID-19

FURTHER TO THE RELAXATION OF COVID-19 RULES ON 19TH JULY BATEMANS' OFFICE & SALEROOM ARE NOW OPEN TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC AGAIN.

WE WILL CONTINUE TO RUN A PRE-BOOKED APPOINTMENT SYSTEM FOR ANY VALUATION OR COLLECTION VISIT. WE CAN OFFER ALL OF OUR AUCTION & VALUATION SERVICES - PLEASE CONTACT US VIA EMAIL AND TELEPHONE TO ASSIST YOU WITH BUYING, SELLING, & CONDUCTING PROFESSIONAL VALUATIONS. 

WE HAVE TAKEN THE DECISION THAT ALL UPCOMING SALES WILL STILL BE HELD, AS PER ALL RECENT AUCTIONS, BEHIND CLOSED DOORS AS LIVE ONLINE SALES ONLY:

- BIDDING WILL BE ONLINE ONLY OR VIA ABSENTEE AND TELEPHONE BIDDING.

- WE CONTINUE TO FEEL THAT THIS HELPS REDUCE RISK FOR OUR CUSTOMERS AND OURSELVES.

 

Following the Government's announcement and as per current Public Health instructions we are able to offer all of our auction sales and valuation services in a relatively normal manner. We will continue to use an appointments system for any appointment, and we look forward to hearing from you if you do have anything that we can help to sell.

Consignment for Sale:

In person / in office Valuations can be booked via an appointment system, and we are still ready and able to carry out valuations via email - please Contact Us to find out how we can help, and read through our Selling page for plenty of relevant information.

We would be delighted to hear from you to see your treasures, and look forward to providing our Valuations and Sale services where appropriate.

 

Client Home Visits:

These are permitted to proceed in an almost normal manner but still following guidelines and protocols for tradespeople and surveyors visiting homes. These can be arranged as usual by appointment - please Contact Us to find out how we can help, and read through our Selling page for plenty of relevant information.

Batemans' Valuers attending your home will seek to minimise contact wherever possible to provide this service as safely as possible.

 

Probate, Inheritance Tax, and Insurance Professional Valuations: 

These are permitted to proceed in an almost normal manner but still following guidelines and protocols for tradespeople and surveyors visiting homes. Please see our Valuations page for plenty of relevant information.

Batemans' Valuers attending a property will seek to minimise contact wherever possible to provide these services as safely as possible.

 

Sale Days & Pre-Sale Viewing:

Auctions will remain as 'Live Online' as per our auctions since June 2020, with our high quality online sale catalogues providing as usual multiple images of lots and informative descriptions. Condition reports, additional images and Valuer advice will all be provided on request to further assist potential bidders.

Viewing prior to sale is now PERMITTED but will be arranged BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - please Contact Us to book a viewing time prior to any sale.

 

Post Sale & Collection of Lots:

Any purchased lots can be collected via a contact-free 'Click-and Collect' system - please Contact Us to arrange a timed collection slot.

All invoices must be settled prior to arrival as there will be no facility to pay at our premises. All payments can securely and easily be made remotely following instructions on emailed invoices; via our online card payments system, or by our preferred method of bank transfer.

We will prepare your purchased items for a swift and easy collection at a mutually convenient time. There will be no packaging available for common use so please ensure you bring any packing material you may need.
