A William IV / early Victorian silver set of four salt cellars, of circular pierced floral swag design with further swags and C scrolls, each on three feet, the spoons with bowls formed as flowers and the terminals as leaves joined by naturalistic stems, each 8cm long, blue glass liners, total silver weight 9.17toz, each 6.5 by 5.5cm high. (4)
Provenance: Purchased Phillips, New Bond Street, Lot 176 for £160, Sale 19581, 19th October 1973.
