Alan Caiger-Smith MBE (British, 1930-2020): a large studio pottery twin handled vase, circa 1985, with narrowed neck and flared rim, ovoid body, and narrow foot, decorated in a grey and cream glaze with stylized flower and leaf design, painted marks to base, 99cm (39") high by 38cm (15") diameter, top rim 18.5cm, foot rim 12cm, together with custom made black painted wrought iron three legged stand, possibly made by Fotheringhay Forge, the total height of vase mounted in its stand is 155cm (61").
