A 17th century oak Wainscot chair, the open arms with scroll carved ends, lift lid to box seat with decorative carved front, the arched back with scroll finials, bearing a carved date of ‘1696’ and the initials ‘R D M’ to the arched crest, also stamped with the initials ‘TD’ four times, raised on short turned block feet, 50 by 52 by 100.5 cm high.
