An early Victorian 18ct yellow gold pocket watch, key wind, open faced, with machine engraved dial, matte chapter ring with raised gold Roman numerals, and blued steel hands, foliate engraved case edging, adjustable 'detached lever; movement numbered '4343', case stamped '18' and VRR probably for Vale & Rotherham, Birmingham 1838, , case 43.5mm, 71.3g gross, together with a gold plated snake link fob chain, 43cm long, and two watch keys. (4)
Notes: in working condition, winds and hands set, runs across 30min test, however Batemans cannot guarantee its continued operation, hinged case back a little loose on its catch.
