Lot 1A pair of large Chinese Export porcelain 'Dragon' chargers, Qing Dynasty, late 19th / early 20th century, 24" diameter, each decorated in Ming style underglaze blue with a three clawed dragon amongst scrolling clouds and waves, unmarked, 61 by 8cm and 61 by 7cm, together with a pair of solid brass wall mounts, created to fit these pair of chargers..
Lot 2Two Chinese mixed media pictures, early to mid 20th century, both with full length figures of Chinese men and women in traditional robes made from silk over card cut out sections with hand painted faces, shoes and other details, mounted onto a printed silk background, the first with four figures, each 26cm high, glazed and in a gilt highlighted black frame, 38.5 by 59cm, the second with three figures, each 18cm high, glazed and in a gilt and black highlighted red frame, 28.5 by 39.5cm. Lot 3A group of three Chinese 'rice paper' paintings, 19th century, comprising one depicting two bids perching on branches, 15 by 29cm, mounted, glazed and framed, 28 by 42cm, one depicting a sailing ship with oarsmen, paper label verso for Joseph Ceci, Fine Art Dealer, Tunbridge Wells, 15 by 22cm, mounted, glazed and framed, 28 by 34cm, the third depicting a butterfly and grasshoppers amongst flowers, paper label verso for Joseph Ceci, Fine Art Dealer, Tunbridge Wells, 15 by 22cm, mounted, glazed and framed, 28 by 34cm. Lot 5A group of Chinese famille rose porcelain, 18th century and later, comprising a dish decorated with a waterfall, bamboo and chrysanthemum, 23 by 4cm, a saucer dish, decorated with two figures and a dog, 11.7 by 2.3cm, a tea bowl decorated to the outside with a frieze of eight figures, four character mark to base, 10 by 6cm, a small teapot decorated with ten figures, rabbits and butterflies, 9.5cm high, and a wine pot decorated with an elephant and six figures, wire loop handles, 11.5cm high, together with two modern famille jaune small bowls, each 5 by 2.5cm high. Lot 6A group of South East Asian metal wares, comprising a copper and overlaid white metal vase, 15 by 8.5cm high, a copper vessel with scrolling floral decoration, 10 by 8cm, a copper dish engraved with mirror text, 13cm, a Chinese enamel tea bowl, decorated with prunus blossom and bamboo against a blue ground, a/f damaged, 8 by 5.5cm high, together with a Sterling silver lobed dish, engraved 'Edith July 2" 1899' and 'Joy Barcham July 9" 1922', 96.5g, 12 by 4cm, a silver plated Jersey milk jug, 13cm high, a pair of edwardian silver salts, with Albany pattern silver salt spoons, a cast brass ornament modelled as Romulus and Remus suckling a shewolf, 9 by 4 by 6.5cm high, and a 19th century tortoiseshell and white metal pocket magnifying glass, 7cm across. Lot 12A Chinese blue and white porcelain plate, late Qing Dynasty, Hongxian mark and period, circa 1916, decorated in underglaze blue with eight segmented panels, four with a repeated image of a single female figure, alternating with four panels depicting flowers, with floral roundel to the centre of the plate, the reverse of the plate with further foliate decoration to its rim, Hongxian mark and double concentric rings to base, 25.8cm..
Lot 14A group of fifteen 19th century and later Oriental and European ceramics, including a Chinese blue and white bowl, Kangxi style, 16.5 by 3.8cm high, a Dutch 19th century tin glaze plate, 23 by 2cm high, together with two glass salts, all pieces a/f and in need of restoration. (17).
Lot 17A Chinese Export porcelain blue and white plate, late 19th century, decorated with temples in water gardens, diaper border, together with an English Victorian transfer printed plate in the same pattern, and a painted glass vase, of tapering square section form, on four gilt bun feet, decorated on two sides with birds, vine leaves and gilt bamboo poles, enamelled 'jewelled' borders to the edges. (3).
Lot 18A Japanese Satsuma vase, circa 1930, of shouldered ovoid form, decorated with a peacock standing on a rocky outcrop with stream and waterfall below, a profusion of flowers and foliage forming the surroundings, a pink blossoming cherry tree above, decorated to the opposite side with two purple breasted birds in blossoming cherry branches above ripples of blue water, the neck and foot rims with gilt, black and brown borders, subtle crackleure all over the glaze, printed three character mark to base, with Shimazu family crest, and 'Shi Yama', probably from Kobe, Kyoto, Yokohama area, 16 by 32.5cm high..
Lot 23A Royal Albert Holyrood pattern part dinner and tea service, comprising a teapot, a lidded sugar bowl, an uncovered sugar bowl, a milk jug, cream jug, six tea plates, a cake plate, eight tea cups and saucers, four chocolate cups with saucers, six dinner plates, four soup bowls, four dessert bowls, a lidded tureen, an oval meat dish, an oval vegetable dish, a tray boat with saucer, and a large cut glass fruit bowl. (43).
Lot 24A collection of decorative ceramics, comprising eighteen trios, including Portmeirion The Holly and The Ivy, Royal Albert Old Country Roses, Bing and Grondahl, Copenhagen, Paragon Country Lane, Asbury Dragon and Aynsley, a bachelor decorated in puce and a Daisy part tea service decorated in the Imari style, comprising six cups and saucers, six side plates, 16cm diameter and a cake plate, 23cm diameter. (75).
Lot 25A Thomas of Germany part dinner service, in simple white design with gilt rim, comprising six dinner plates, 24cm diameter, six bowls, 19cm diameter, three side plates, 17cm diameter, six double handled soup bowls and saucers six coffee cans and saucers, a circular serving dish, 19.5cm, an oval meat plate, 38cm, sugar bowl and jug, together with a similarly patterned coffee set made to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee, comprising four cups and saucers, sugar bowl with lid, coffee pot and jug, further similarly patterned items, thirteen 20th century commemorative mugs, a set of six Wedgwood coffee cans, a Royal Albert coffee pot, jug and bowl decorated with a cerise band and gilded highlights and further and various decorative ceramics. Lot 26A set of six Michael Harris Isle of Wight glass goblets from the Azurene collection, 13cm tall, together with six cranberry glasses with cut glass stems, 14cm tall, four champagne coups, 11cm, an oversized glass with cylinder cut stem, the bowl finely engraved with waterlilies, 16.5cm, and another taller glass, the bowl engraved intricately with convolvulus, 19cm tall. (18).
Lot 27A group of Georgian and later glass rummers, comprising three engraved examples of conical form, a further plain example of similar form, all with baluster stems, two of large deep ogee form, each approximately 15cm tall, and two further later examples, together with five smaller 19th century and later drinking glasses. (13).
Lot 34A group of three Georgian drinking glasses, comprising a wine glass the ovoid bowl above milk glass air twist stem with folded foot, 16cm tall, a trumpet shaped glass with double air twist stem and folded foot, 17cm tall, and a smaller ogee shaped glass with doubled milk glass air twist stem and folded foot, 11cm tall. Lot 37A group porcelain figurines of young ladies including a Lladro figurine of a young lady holding flowers, 5 by 6.5 by 23cm high, another Lladro style figurines, a Staffordshire figurine of a 19th century lady in a bonnet, 12 by 10.5 by 17cm high, a/f, a limited edition Franklin Porcelain Marie Antoinette, 14.7 by 15.5 by 20cm high, and two spill vases. Lot 39A group of 19th century and later European porcelain, including a Flight Barr & Barr Imari pattern fruit bowl with shaped rim, 30m by 9.2cm high, three pieces of Worcester style blue and white wares, a fruit bowl with under glaze molding, 24.5 by 7.5cm high, and two plates, largest 22.3 by 3cm high, together with water jugs and plates, a/f. Lot 40A group of English 18th century blue and white possibly Worcester tea wares, comprising a fence pattern tea bowl and saucer, bowl 8 by 4.4cm high, saucer, 12.8 by 2.6cm high, a releif pattern tea cup and saucer, cup 8.5 by 6.8 by 6.1cm high, saucer, 12 by 2.2cm high, a slop bowl, 15.5 by 16.8cm high, milk jug, 10 by 6.5 by 10.5cm high, six tea cups, one tea bowl, and two saucers, most a/f with damage and restoration. Lot 41A group English and continental 19th century and later porcelain tea wares, including a Royal Crown Derby tea fluted bowl and saucer with ribbon and vine decoration, bowl 8 by 5.2cm high, saucer 12.5 by 2.4cm high, a Sevres style tea cup and saucer with shaped gilt lined rim and floral design, a Flight Barr & Barr saucer purple leaves and gilt design, a/f. (11).
Lot 42A group of eleven English 19th century and later teapots and water jugs, including a Chinese style blue and white teapot decorated with figures picking flowers, 22 by 12 by 16cm high, and two Worcester style blue and white teapot, one 18.5 by 9.5 by 12.5cm high, the other 17 by 9.5 by 13.5cm high, an English blue and white water jug with green man form spout, 18 by 13 by 22cm high, a/f. (11).
Lot 46A group of seven Victorian fairings, comprising The Night Cap, Going To The Ball Returning At One O'Clock In The Morning, The Wedding Night, Twelve Months After Mariage (sic), The Last In Bed To Put Out The Light, Sarah's Youngman, together with a figural ceramic match box and cover, with striker to base, a/f several with damage.
