A pair of Art Deco diamond and platinum ear clips, mounted by Cartier, circa 1930, in the form of flowers, each with central claw set 0.4ct round brilliant cut stone surrounded by eight 0.25ct round brilliant cut stones, the leaves formed of two rows of eight 0.05ct baguette cut stones, approximately 3.20ct total, signed 'Cartier London' and 'JC PT 950', 1.8 by 2.3 by 1.3cm, in a gilt tooled red leather bound Cartier case, pencil label '8123, Earrings Clip' to the inside beneath black velvet fitted cushion, 7.5 by 5.0 by 2.5cm. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
