A Chinese porcelain ginger jar, 19th century, with carved wooden cover and stand, painted overall with prunus blossoms on a cracked ice ground, 13cm high, 19cm high including cover and stand, together with another Chinese porcelain ginger jar and cover, late 19th / early 20th century, decorated with a rural scene, two men with fowl and framed by matte brown bands, painted four character mark to base, 15.5cm. (2) Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
