An early 19th century puzzle stick or rattle, possibly Napoleonic Prisoner of War, the stick carved with central compartment holding integral free balls and triangular detailing to edges, 18cm, together with an unusual Edwardian vesta case, carved to one side with a portrait of Queen Victoria, the ribbon below inscribed In Memoriam, the back carved with thistles, three leaf clovers and roses encircling cartouche inscribed RY, 3.7 by 5.2cm. (2) Provenance: The Private Lincolnshire Estate of a Danish Family.
