A Caughley part tea service, late 18th century, of fluted form, decorated in coloured enamels, with a continuous floral border, sprays of gilt flowers and a cartouche of two doves beneath a banner reading 'L'amitie' (friendship) within a circular gilt and blue berry scrolling border, comprising teapot with cover, 22 by 14.5cm, plate, 20.5cm, small sugar bowl, 5cm, and a tea cup, 9 by 6.5cm. (4) Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
