A Royal Crown Derby porcelain vase and cover, circa 1885, of cube form with moulded bead rim and cast handles to the corners, lid with scroll finial, and raised on four square block feet, reserve decorated to each side against a bleu de ciel ground with a bird on a flowering branch, gilt border highlights, the lid with similar triangular panel reserves with butterflies on branches, 10 by 10 by 14.5cm.
