A Meissen porcelain figural sweetmeat dish, circa 1880, modelled as a young gallant recumbent and holding a basket, with white coat painted with floral sprays, raised on a scrolled base with gilded highlights, with blue crossed swords mark to the base and incised 2872, press number 51, 17.5 by 14 by 12cm.
