A pair of Bloor Derby porcelain figure groups, modelled as 'The Welch Tailor & his Wife', circa 1830, after the Meissen originals by J. J. Kaendler and J. F. Eberlein, modelled to left and right, each figure riding a goat, the Tailor carrying two goat kids on his back, his goat holding an iron in its mouth, his wife carrying a pannier on her back with two children, another child at her breast, on her goat with suckling kid, on gilt scroll-moulded bases, red painted factory mark, incised 'No 62', each 10 by 6 by 14cm high. (2)
