Two Victorian medallions, the silver coloured metal cast with cows, sheep and pigs to the obverse of each, the reverse of one inscribed Manchester and Liverpool Agricultural Society 1847, Presented to W B Wainman Esq of Carhead, as Landlord for the best boar (Lord of Misrule) kept to serve the sows, exhibited at Bolton 12 and 13 Sept 1860, 4.9cm diameter excluding suspension loop, the reverse of the other inscribed Birmingham and Midland Counties Exhibition 1848, To W B Wainman Esq, For The Best Fat Pig, Class 41, silver coloured metal mounts, 5.5cm diameter excluding suspension loop, both under glass. (2) Provenance: The Private Lincolnshire Estate of a Danish Family.
