A pair of Staffordshire pot lids, both depicting anthropomorphic and political themes, comprising Bear, Lion and Cock, No.19, 7.5cm, a/f chips to underside of base, and the other depicting bears having a lesson, with the figure of a teacher with paper in his pocket entitled 'Reading made Easy' chastising another bear, two further bears behind holding a banner 'addiction', with the figure of a wolf in female clothing behind, 7.5cm diameter, a/f chips to lid base.
