A Chinese Yixing pottery teapot, the red clay body decorated with applied roots and nuts, stylised seed pods as feet, the lid modelled as an upturned mushroom, base unmarked, 17.5 by 12cm. Provenance: Purchased by the vendor's grandfather, an Antiques Auctioneer, between 1920s and 1940s.
