A Chinese porcelain tea bowl, Qing Dynasty, mid 18th century, decorated in underglaze blue with four orchids surrounded by scrolls and foliage, Qianlong mark to base and believed to be of the period, a/f hairline crack and chips to rim, 10.5 by 6cm high. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
