An early Sevres porcelain cup, mid 18th century, the body finely painted with a portrait of Madame de Pompadour bordered by Chinese style geometrically engraved gilding, further flanked by enamel and gilt Rococo decoration, blue interlaced L factory mark, centered with 'A' date mark for 1753, and below with 'L' gilders mark for Denis Leve, 9.7 by 7.5cm high.
