An 18th German or English plate painted in green and red with a couple, believed to be George III and his wife Charlotte, the tree between them bearing five fruit, indicating the plate may have been made after the birth of their fifth child Prince Edward in 1767 and before the birth of their sixth child Princess Augusta in 1768, 24.5cm, together with a 19th century porcelain scent bottle, the lid painted with lady beside gentleman dressed in Chinese attire holding a musical triangle, gilded detailing, 6 by 8 by 11.5cm.
