A George III silver lidded tankard, of tapering cylindrical form with two bands of reeded decoration to the middle body and lower rim, the domed lid with orb finial and foliate anthemion thumbpiece, scroll box section handle, later engraved to the base ‘This Tankard was made in London in the year 1798, by John Robins’, John Robins, London 1798, 1031.0g, 19.0cm high.
