A stamp collection contained in three grey box files, Victorian and later stamps, comprising grey box file 'Three' containing 'Misc To Pay' loose sheets with postcards, experimental type Scottish stamp used 1844 B'ham, dumb cancellation 1919, examiner's mark, newspaper cancellations, overprints, perfins, forwarded mail 1936, hooded type 1882, maritime posted letters, stationery (pre-printed with postage stamps), Registered mail Stockholm - London 1895. Box file Four titled 'Inland Office, Branch Office, Inland Branch' includes penny reds approximately 125 singles, one twopenny blue, inland office penny reds on letters x27, earliest 1844, branch letters dating 1829 - 1857 including post paid 1838, United States letter dated 1841 NY, Branch office penny reds from 1856 x14, letters from 1837 including Charing Cross, 1830 Lombard St, Inland branch approx 41 penny red stamps, several others on letters including duplex codes, one titled Edward VII, Local 1/2d and Squared Circle Postmarks, including postcards and letters from Worcestershire all 1/2 penny stamps, Squared Circle postmark letters and correspondence including 1889 to Iowa via New York, Victorian one penny violet stamps, 1887 London & District Offices, branch Offices, examples from a variety of assorted countries on letters.
