Lot 2A Chinese porcelain tureen and cover, Qing Dynasty, early 19th century, decorated in famille rose palette with flower and butterflies, of oval bellied and gently lobed form, the cover with flowerhead knop finial, twin strapwork handles, a/f damaged and extensively restored with stapled repairs, 47 by 30 by 30cm high..
Lot 3A Chinese Republic porcelain vase, of hexagonal section with reticulated sides, decorated with flowering plants and a hummingbird hanging upside down, gilt twin line border to rim, black painted calligraphic script and iron red signatures to back, iron red four character mark to base, 12 by 28cm high..
Lot 4A Chinese blue and white ginger jar and cover, late 19th century, decorated in underglaze blue with cherry blossoms on a cracked ice ground, with toothed band to neck and foot rims, a/f lid repaired, with four character mark to base, 21cm high, together with another similar ginger jar, early 20th century, unsigned, 21cm high. Lot 6A group of six 19th century Chinese Export porcelain octagonal dishes, each similarly decorated in underglaze blue and white with a chrysanthemum, rock and flowers, with floral sprays to the borders, each 22.5cm, some a/f damaged, together with a 19th century Chinese blue and white octagonal rectangular serving dish, 28 by 37cm, and an early 19th century English transfer printed serving dish. Lot 9A group of three Chinese opium pipes, the largest with white blossom on black enamels decoration, 7 by 3.5 by 28cm high, another with engraved white metal decoration and Chinese characters to a wax seal and to its base, 7 by 3.5 by 25cm high, a cylindrical bone pipe its reserves decorated with figures and and oriental characters, with a further three character script to its base, 3.5 by 5 by 9cm. Lot 15A group of European and Asian ceramics, including an early 19th century French porcelain armorial cabinet plate, 24cm, an English china lidded twin handled sucrier, pale green and gold decoration, Chinese dishes and bowls, and an Edwardian bowl with silver plated rim, 24 by 11.5cm high, a/f. Lot 19A set of six early 19th century English porcelain botanical dishes, possibly Coalport or Minton, each of square outline with incuse corners, each painted with a separate species of plant, hand titled to the backs, comprising 'Broad Leave'd Garden Anemone', 'Annual Lavatera', 'Superb Amaryllis', 'Pendulous Catchfly', 'Purple Candy Tuft', and 'Carpathian Bell Flower', gilt scrolling borders, 19 by 19cm. (6).
Lot 20A group of three Cantagalli maiolica pottery bowls, probably table salts, circa 1900, each modelled with a mythical half human beast form handle whose serpent tail form legs are gripping the sides, the oval bowl with three moulded lips, each painted to the outside with grotesques, mythical beasts, and swags, and to the inside with a mythical fish beast or flowers in swirling water, painted cockerel marks to bases, each 26 by 18 by 13.5cm high. Lot 21A group of eleven Cantagalli maiolica pottery dishes, circa 1900, of Urbino type, circular form with gently rippled rim, each painted to the well with a putto in a mountainous fantasy landscape, surrounded by borders decorated with grotesques, mythical beasts, and swags, painted cockerel marks to bases, each approximately 22.5cm diameter.
