Jewellery ...

An 18ct gold Theo Fennell cross pendant set with a round cut ruby to the centre, 4.0mm, hallmarked to back, 4.7 by 2.6cm, 8.1g, on a gold chain, foreign marks, tests as between 14 and 18ct, 6.5g, 47cm long. (2)

A George III gold gentleman’s memento mori ring, inscribed to the black enamel band ‘R. Dickson Skine Esq. Died 9 Feb 1791 Aged 71’, tests as 18ct gold 4mm wide, size 1, 5.2g.

An interesting gold memento mori portrait miniature brooch pendant, possibly 17th century, depicting King Charles I in armour wearing a medal and with a skull to his side, with twisted gold wirework to the edge, set with an opal verso, loop attached, frame and loop unmarked but test as 18ct gold, and later base metal hinged pin fastening, 22 by 18mm excluding loop, 3.9g.

A Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36 gentleman's stainless steel and 18K yellow gold wristwatch, model 116203, circa 2011.

An 18K yellow gold Omega Constellation Manhattan Chronometer gentleman's wristwatch, model 198.0140, circa 2000, with aftermarket diamond and ruby set case.

An Edwardian silver serving dish with lid, of octagonal form with detachable handle, Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd., London 1907, 42.97toz, 26.5 by 20 by 11.5cm high.

A Christopher Lawrence limited edition silver gilt commemorative 'surprise' ornament, 'The Wedding Orb', limited edition 16/100, commemorating the union between Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, in textured silver and silver gilt, with an orb decorated to each hemisphere with the Royal Coat of Arms, surmounted by the cross of St Paul's and mounted on a pedestal foot and a cube of green Italian marble, the interior an enamel medallion with the Prince of Wales Feathers to one side and an insignia representing Diana's family to the other, surrounded by a wreath of Tudor roses and leaves, Christopher Lawrence, London 1981, 28cm high.

Gold ...


A George VI 9ct gold cigarette case, decorated with a checkerboard design, pin hinge to one end with sprung thumb clasp, engraved internally with 'S A E 1927' monogram, with gold coloured elasticated band opposite, elastic now perished, Charles S Green & Co Ltd, Birmingham 1925, 1.1 by 11.5 by 8.1cm, 121.9g gross.

Coins ...

A George VI 1937 proof gold four coin specimen set, Royal Mint issue, comprising five pounds, two pounds (double sovereign), sovereign, and half sovereign, total weight 67.8g, in original red morocco leather case with gilt tooled GVIR royal cypher and 'Specimen Coins 1937' to the hinged cover, fitted internally with cream velvet, white silk above with gilt Royal Mint crest, 12.5 by 9.5 by 2cm.
Notes: proof quality but various light surface scratches evident as well as slight toning visible on all coins.
