Catalogued as a Chinese porcelain 'Gu' shaped vase, early Kangxi / Transitional period, circa 1670, it is decorated in underglaze blue with a continuous frieze of a prunus tree, flowers and birds, with borders to the rim and foot. It stands an impressive 42.7cm (16.8 inches) high.
