A West African carved wooden neck rest, 19th century, the neck rest with two lines of chip carved decoration, connected by two supports to a hollowed out base, with three link chain carved from the whole, chain links each 6 by 10cm, chain 18cm long from rest, overall 24 by 9 by 19cm high.
Provenance: from the Estate of George Evans, a 19th century Missionary in Africa.
