Description:
A 20-Bore (0.615") Belgian Liège early 18th century flintlock pistol, by I Florkin, likely Jean Florkin, with foliate carved walnut stock, the round barrel with brass sight and octagonal breech engraved and stamped 'IF' and 'I Florkin', the steel lock plate engraved with decorative borders and maker's name 'Florkin A Liege', further applied brass decoration, brass pommel cast with a face mask and tangs, brass trigger guard, later wooden ram-rod, barrel 30cm, 15.5mm internal, 47cm overall, together with a later wooden display stand.
