A 17th century provincial oak settle, the rectangular back with a decorative frieze and three panels and carved with lunettes centred by the carved initials 'WSS', further scrolling borders, later turned knobs to the top rail and carved sides, all above five plain fielded panels, shaped open arms to each end over a later two plank solid seat, raised on turned legs joined by peripheral stretchers, 200 by 62 by 124cm high.
