More Information

This vase is in reasonably good condition, however it does have a crack to the rim, approximately 5 by 3mm at widest point. There is a hairline crack flowing vertically down through the rim from this crack. There is a further fine hairline crack through the glaze running vertically into the central band to the left of the six character signature. There are various frit inclusions throughout the glaze, inside and outside, and there are light scratches all over from general wear and cleaning over the last 300 years.
This vase was consigned from a good private local vendor and it has been in their family for at least 100 years.
