A pair of late 19th century French white opaline glass baluster vases, each decorated with a portrait roundel of a lady in profile, one in a blue dress and wearing pearls, the other in red holding a flower, inside a decorative foliate gilt border and further plain gilt borders to the upper and lower rims, each roundel 12cm, 18 by 38.5cm, one previously damaged and reduced in height to 18 by 36.5cm.
