A large South East Asian carved sandalwood box, likely 19th century, of serpentine rectangular form, the top carved with peacock between figures amidst scrolling foliage, the sides with draggons and birds amongst arabesques, the inside lid with further birds amongst trailing peonies, with fitted tray and raised on shaped long bracket feet, 50 by 39 by 16cm.
