An early 20th century carved stone garden planter, of open coffin form with two drainage holes, decoratively carved with a frieze of fruit bowls, urns, floral and foliate scrolls, raised upon twin pedestals, each with fluted sides and scroll decoration, 118 by 38.5 by 80cm high.

Several signs of repairs; it appears to have split and been repaired at least once if not more. General wear all over, but lovely lichen and age from exposure to the elements.
