Fees

A George III silver vinaigrette, of octagonal form with and engraved thistle to its top, a parcel gilt interior, a pierced foliate pattern hinged grille, engraved 'ICL to SS' upon its base, Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1809, 3.7 by 2.8 by 0.7cm, 0.5toz.

More Information

The lid of the vinaigrette does not fully close but this appears to be due to a misaligned hinge. There are surface marks and scratches throughout this piece but the hinges do feel secure and the grille opens and closes well.
