A WWII Caterpillar Club 9ct gold brooch, modelled as a silk worm, with inset ruby eyes, engraved to back 'P/O C. Ogilvy, Pres. Irving Co', hinged pin fastening, 0.9g, 4.3 by 19mm long.
Notes: The Caterpillar Club badge was an unofficial British award, founded in 1922, and was presented to Royal Air Force personnel who had 'baled out' successfully wearing an Irvin parachute made by the Irvin Air Chute Company, the recipient's name was engraved on the reverse.
