An 18ct yellow gold brooch in the form of a bird, swift or swallow, modelled with outstretched wings and grasping a small diamond in its beak, inset ruby eyes, finely detailed with chased plumage showing individual feathers, with hinged pin bar and swivel clasp attached to top of its wings, stamped 18K, 7.9g, 35 by 29 by 7mm, in modern black box.
