After Auguste Nicolas Cain (French, 1822-1894): a large bronze figural group, modelled as two hunting dogs ‘Pompier’ and ‘Caron’ sitting by a tree stump from which a hunting horn hangs, foundry mark for Susse Freres Paris, 50 by 40 by 63cm high.

More Information

In excellent condition with lovely patina. Only minor issue is a broken 'rope' tying the dogs to the tree stump which requires a small repair - as illustrated.
