A rare Wedgwood Fairyland lustre Daventry pedestal bowl, circa 1925, designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones, decorated to the interior with the Imps on a Bridge 'Roc Centre' pattern within a pine cone and poinsettia border from the Ghostly Wood pattern, and to the exterior with a blue ground band of fairies and elves sat upon toadstools with spider's webs behind, from the Dana pattern, reserved on a bronze lustred ground, printed to base with Portland Vase WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND mark, and painted pattern number Z5443 V, 32.8cm diameter by 13.2cm high, together with a turned wooden revolving display stand, labelled 'Betula Ltd, Sharpleshall Street, London, NW1', 37.5 by 10cm. (2) Purportedly purchased by the vendor's parents from Harrods.
