Laure Lévy (French, 1866-1954) after D. Greuze, a late 19th century French porcelain plaque, painted with a girl wearing a blue, yellow and white striped dress and bonnet, sat in a chair winding wool while a kitten on a table beside her plays with the other end, signed upper right, 20.5 by 15.5cm, in a gilt frame, 37 by 31.5cm.
Provenance: Private Deceased Estate, purchased lot 34, 9th June 2010, Cheffins.
