After the Antique: a 19th century bronze sculpture, modelled as Hercules and the Nemean Lion, portrayed as heroically nude seated on a tree stump over which his lion skin cloak drapes and his left hand rests, and holding a club in his right arm, on integral squared base, unsigned, 18 by 15 by 27.5cm high.

In good condition with excellent patina. No major damage, some small scratches overall, the edges of the base have bent in slightly.
