A rare Leica M6 '150 Jahre Photographie' Rangefinder Camera, 1989, platinum plated & karung snake leather covered, with Summilux-M f 1:1.4/50 lens, in wooden presentation box with carrying strap, two batteries and lens caps, all boxed, full paperwork including certificate and Leica Passport, branded outer box, and cardboard shipping box with original labels, limited edition of 1,250, serial number 1758019, series serial number L218, (218/1250), in as new, almost perfect condition, purchased new by the vendor from Hove Camera Company for £3,577 on 28th March 1990, with original receipt.
Notes: Produced to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Leica dating from the first Leica prototype in 1914.
