A group of four oval portrait miniatures, believed to be ancestors from the Mansel-Carey family of Uppingham, comprising a portrait of Elizabeth Haggerston nee Whittred, half length, watercolour, 13.7 by 10.5cm, in oval ebonised frame, 21 by 17.6cm, hand written family history verso, a half length oval portrait of lady with hair tied up, 8.6 by 6.9cm, mounted and glazed within an oval gilt metal frame 11.5 by 9.6cm, an oval half length portrait of a middle aged clergyman in white wig, 6.3 by 5cm, mounted and glazed within an ebonised frame, 11.2 by 9.8cm, and a small oval half length portrait of a young lady with hairdown, 4.4 by 3.5cm, mounted glazed within an ebonised oval frame, 7.3 by 6.3cm.
