A group of WWII medals for 920295 Pilot Officer Denny Lake RAF including an Aircrew Europe Star, 1939-1945 Star, War medal, all with ribbons, citation papers, a two page handwritten letter from Lake to his wife dated 10th July 1940 (the first day of the Battle of Britain) which mentions bombings and use of anti aircraft guns at his airfield, a telegram reporting him missing in action, dated 18th June 1941, also an RAF cigarette case with enamel enamel RAF insignia, and an ancestor's presentation issue list of Subscribers to the 'Testimonial'.
