A handwritten and signed letter by archaeologist Basil Brown (1888-1977), Brown discovered and excavated the the famous Sutton Hoo Viking finds (as recently portrayed in the Netflix film 'The Dig' 2021), the letter is a response to Christopher Elliott's concerning a mummified cat within his collection, 25.5 by 20cm, stuck down on board, 31 by 24.5cm.
