An late Victorian diamond set brooch, modelled as a swallow in flight, in white and yellow precious metal, set with 41 rose cut diamonds, in various diameters ranging from 2.5mm to 1mm, and a 1.0mm cabochon ruby eye, on a knife edge bar with pin fastening, apparently unmarked, swallow 24 by 25mm, 43mm wide overall, 5.0g.
