A German WWII Luftwaffe Type B Observers Watch or Beobachtungsuhr (B-Uhr), signed Laco, 22 Steine, circa 1945, manual wind, nickel case, the radium luminous black dial with Arabic five-minute numerals and batons with arrow at 12 o'clock, a central inner ring with Arabic numerals 1 to 12, sweeping centre seconds, ordinance number FL23883 stamped to the side, movement number H3285 to back cover and 03285 to the movement, inside caseback marked 'Beobachtungsuhr Bauart: Durowe, Gerat-Nr. 127-560B, Werk-Nr. H 3285, Anforderz. FL23883, Hersteller: Lacher & Co', dial 50mm, 54.7mm case, 63.6mm across crown, 26mm between lugs, 171.7g gross, on a later black hand-stitched leather strap, but with the replaced older brown leather strap.
Notes: In working condition, winds and hand sets well, runs across 30min test, however Batemans cannot guarantee its continued operation.
