A French violin, late 19th century, by Vuillaume, two-piece back, stamped below button and labelled 'Vuillaume à Paris, Rue Croix des Petits Champs, 46.' with Aubert bridge, back 36cm, 59cm overall, together with two bows, the shorter (1/4 size violin?) 54.5cm, the longer 74cm, and an ebonised coffin case.
