Jean Shepeard (British, 1904-1989): three charcoal portraits of early 20th century actresses, all signed with a monogram, comprising Joan Greenwood (1921-1987), 23 by 16cm, mounted, glazed and framed, 35 by 28.5cm, Francis Doble (1902-1969), 22 by 16.5cm, mounted, 35 by 28cm, and Edna Best (1900-1974), 26.4 by 18.5cm, mounted, 40 by 30cm. Provenance- from Doreen Kern Collection (Artist and Sculptor 1931-2021) niece of Jean Shepeard.
