A Swiss Le Phare 18ct gold cased quarter repeating chronograph full hunter pocket watch, circa 1900, the white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, minute and second track with five minute numerals, recessed subsidiary seconds dial, gold spade style hands and blued steel seconds hands, plain polished case, stamped 18K, number 52091, cuvette engraved with award medals and inscription 'Répétition Chronographe 'Le Phare'', movement serial 258135, two hammers striking and repeating on gongs, with push button at 6 o'clock and stopwatch button at 2 o'clock on the band, neck hallmarked but oval shaped bow is gold plated, dial 44mm, 57mm across case, 72mm across winder, 110.0g gross.
Notes: in good working condition, winds and hands set well, keeps time well across 1hr test, repeating function works well and chimes clearly, stop watch function working well.
Provenance: purchased 17th June 1999 at Michael Rose, 44-45 Burlington Arcade, Piccadilly, London, for £3,250, with original receipt.

In good, well serviced condition, with light scratches overall and one or two light dents to the case from use, dial very good. A lovely pocket watch with complicated movement.
