A pair of early 20th century Chinese porcelain ginger jars and covers, decorated as a mirrored pair, in polychrome enamels with a battle scene, various figures and warriors on horseback, brown incised bands to neck and footrim, apocryphal marks to base, one cover damaged a/f, each 22 by 25cm high. (2)

More Information

One of the lids has been broken and poorly repaired, both vases have some rubbed decoration and surface wear throughout. There is also some flaws in the glaze of both jars.
