George Perfect Harding (British, 1780-1853): 'Mary, Queen of Scotland', a small half length portrait, after the original by Federico Zuccaro in the collection of the Bodleian Library, Oxford, pencil, watercolour and bodycolour, heightened with gold on paper, glued to a wooden panel, signed lower right 'G P Harding fecit', with painted delicate scrolling foliate border featuring four thistles and enclosing the title below, 15.5 by 13cm, glazed and in gilt composition frame, 28 by 25cm.
